Study Groups National Center WFSG Team Emily WeiskopfEmily Weiskopf is an experienced staff developer who specializes in the area of school improvement. Since 2001, Emily has been instrumental in the district implementation of Whole Faculty Study Groups in the third largest school district in Missouri. Currently Emily is working with Principal Whole-Faculty Study Groups that focus on current practice, new innovative approaches to coaching teachers, and reflecting on instructional leadership. Emily serves as an Instructional Specialist for School improvement and provides direct administrative support and consultation to principals and staff to guide and implement site-specific improvement initiatives with clear outcomes. She also teaches literacy courses for Southwest Missouri State University to master’s level students. Her teaching experiences include teaching first, second, and third grade students and K-12 teachers and administrators in all areas of the United States. Emily presents on the local, state, and national level on current educational principles, best practices and procedures in data-driven program assessment, instruction, and school improvement planning and implementation.
